The Community Cat Medical Fund assists injured and ill cats in all areas of need. This fund targets community cats that our trappers encounter or that we have agreed to be responsible for medically. These are cats in life-threatening or at-risk situations and are in need of acute veterinary or medical intervention.
The Community Cat Medical Fund began in 2005 with donated veterinary care to Shadow Cats for cats in critical need. In recent years, targeted funding has created a safety net for our trappers and others within Shadow Cats to help cats we encounter within Shadow Cats.
