Summertime, Lazy Days and Sunbeams… What more could you ask for if you were a Shadow Cat?
Why FOOD, of course!
It’s that time again – the time when our sanctuary cats ask shamelessly for Fancy Feast and Royal Canin to fill the pantry and the picnic basket so their tummies won’t growl. Our kitties got into the spirit one day recently to let you know how much they really need, love and deserve the food you send them to keep our sanctuary going. Daniel and Tabbytha have already started licking their lips!
Shadow Cats goes through about 26,000 cans of Fancy Feast a year. That’s about 1100 24-can cases. We do these Food Drives twice a year to not annoy you too much in our ask for support, and in hopes of attaining our 550-case goal each time. We also greatly need the dry staple food that we free feed our cats throughout the day – Royal Canin Indoor Dry Food.
Our last Food Drive was in December, and the cupboards are almost bare. What we need most are cases of Fancy Feast classic pate style cat food in poultry flavors – chicken, turkey and mixed grill are all good choices, along with the Royal Canin mentioned earlier. The kitties have thoughtfully created an Amazon wish list for you which can be accessed via this link.

Chewy doesn’t offer a wish list option, and they don’t send a gift note, so please let us know if you ordered from them so we can thank you publicly. We appreciate every single morsel of kibble and can of food.
Please help us fill our picnic basket for summer (and fall) so we can make it through to Christmas without having to ask for food again. A case or a bag would go a long way toward filling the pantry and making our special Shadow Cats clowder very happy. Thank you so much!
