Found on a rooftop on the Baylor campus in Dallas in the middle of winter, sweet Baylor eagerly went into the arms of her rescuer where she found safety and solace. Over the next few days, she settled nicely into the temporary office home where she was fed, sheltered, and spent more than a few hours getting lots of lap time while her human worked at his computer. Plans were made to introduce her into their cat loving home.
Life often isn’t fair and on her vet visit, she was found to be positive for leukemia. Shadow Cats was contacted and we were able to make room for this sweet girl, now named Baylor. Baylor joined the cats of Cookie’s Annex where she found her niche. She is such a sweet, easy-going girl and has acclimated easily into Cookie’s Annex, ‘a happy home for feline leukemia cats’.
