Bo comes to us from Dallas where he was found in a colony of cats that was being fed by a very kind woman. She noticed he would always come running when she arrived with food but he would often trip or run into things along the way. She started to suspect he was blind. Every time she came he got skinnier and skinnier and she could tell the other cats were attacking him and it was even suspected that he was bitten by a coyote but escaped. His life was so hard and made even harder by his bad eyesight. The good samaritan eventually found him after being attacked again by a group of cats. She scooped him up and got him to a vet ASAP. At the vet, he was patched up and on the mend but unfortunately, he also tested positive for Feline Leukemia. They were quickly running out of options for this poor boy and they knew that he deserved a second chance at life.
In early June 2023, Bo made the trip to Shadow Cats and was welcomed with open arms! Never again will Bo have to fight for food or hide from coyotes. He will only know love, a full belly, and soft warm beds. Bo is still a bit timid but he is warming up to us and we cannot wait to learn more and more about this sweet boy’s personality. Welcome home, Bo, you are safe now!
