This is Elsa! She may look cranky but trust us, she just has a serious case of Resting Grouch Face. Elsa is as sweet as can be and loves a good chin scratch session. She comes to us from Seguin Tx, where her previous owners abandoned her. They got a new dog and poor Elsa was kicked to the streets. Luckily for her, a kind neighbor started to feed her daily. He eventually started to take her to the vet for vaccines to make sure she stayed as healthy as possible. Unfortunately, he was not able to bring her inside due to his own pets, but he kept her well fed and even built her a cat house to make sure she was warm and safe. Eventually, the threat of neighborhood dogs became too concerning and he asked for help.
Elsa made her way to us in mid-September of 2022. She is currently a bit worse for wear due to an allergy to bug bites, but she is being treated by our staff and the team at Sam Bass Veterinary Wellness. We are so happy to provide Elsa with a safe and loving home here at the sanctuary!
