Meet Nori, part of our sushi duo! Nori and her sister, Ebi, came to us from the Dorothy O’Connor Pet Adoption Center in Victoria Texas. They were all set for adoption when they tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Unfortunately, in Victoria, the kittens were at risk for euthanasia, and that is where Shadow Cats came in. The girls were brought to us near the end of September 2022 and we could not be happier!
Nori is a sleek black kitty, much larger than her sister. She is named for the dried seaweed wrapper that holds the sushi piece together. We thought it was a fitting name not just because of her color but because Nori tends to be the calmer more controlled one of the duo. She is a bit more subdued but also a fierce protector of her sister. She loves to play and also loves to snuggle. We are so excited to watch her grow!
