Orca’s journey has been anything but simple. He was rescued from the streets by an amazing SPCA volunteer in Dallas. Tragically, she died in a car accident two weeks later. Our special boy’s perfect home was lost. The SPCA took him back in, but he wound up testing positive for leukemia. Setback after setback befell our sweet boy. He needed a place to land… and Shadow Cats had the room! We took this angel in January 2024 and are giving him the loving forever home he deserves.
Orca was initially content to hang out in his carrier, but that didn’t last long. We couldn’t help ourselves, we needed to scritch those cheeks! Soon enough, Orca was rolling out of his carrier and onto his back, gratefully accepting belly rubs. He loves to be held like a baby, he’ll purr and make biscuits on you when you’re near. This former street cat is full of so much love, and we’re ready to reciprocate that at Shadow Cats. Welcome home, Orca! Here, you’ll never have to wonder about your next meal, and you’ll always have a lap to warm.
