Snarky is sister to Catness and Beauty, born into the feral life at a hospital location in 2013. Very cautious in nature, it took her a bit longer to show herself to people. What a surprise to see another tortie kitten that day! It soon became apparent that she has a unique personality; and, thus she was named Snarky.
For the next 7 years, she lived with her sisters in a managed colony under the daily care of Shadow Cats volunteers. In the beginning, Snarky took feeding time very seriously. She ate and ran. No lingering for her. But, as the years passed, she started to run out of the brush with her tail up in greeting when dinner arrived. The first time she rubbed around her caretaker’s ankles was indeed a special day
When circumstances changed and Snarky needed to find a new home, she joined her sisters, Catness and Beauty, at Shadow Cats in January 2020. She received a good bill of health with no major issues. She’s adjusted well to her new life as a Shadow Cat and spends her days cuddling with her sisters, eating, napping, and even giving the occasional snuggle to our staff!
