Born in the Austin, Tx area in 2010, Valentino has risen through the ranks, from street cat to Miracle cat to presidential candidate. He survived the smear campaign against him as the Mob Enforcer at the Sanctuary. He insists his tactics merely enforce the rules and that his nips are only encouragement to do the right thing. Valentino is a stickler for doing things his way and puts his full weight behind any decisions he makes. He is a proponent of more taxes to sustain the fully stocked kitty cupboard to ensure free feeding and treats. He also enjoys a fine catnip after a good meal. Candidate Valentino strongly believes in Miracles and in the benefits of confirming all feline testing. Valentino and his running mate, vice presidential candidate Otto, feel that because they live in different districts at the Sanctuary, they see the big picture and will work closely with one another to balance the budget and work to govern the Sanctuary in a fair and balanced manner for the next year. Otto
Otto got to Shadow Cats as soon as he could. Thrown into a high kill jail up north and barely making it past a pseudo rescue, he is a true success story. He knows the sorrow and sadness of those who don’t survive and he is dedicated to finding forever homes for his people. He feels strongly in the right to live your best life. He was living comfortably when presidential candidate Valentino approached him to consider being his running mate. Even with differences, Otto believes they would be a very balanced team. While Valentino supports big spending, Otto believes in cutting the pork and operating on a much slimmer budget. Together they will surely provide balance at Shadow Cats.
