In Memory of James 1/19/2019 – 3/4/2022
James has been with us for just a couple of days. We were so in love with this handsome tuxie! James had us laughing from the minute he arrived! A confident, happy boy he was out of his carrier and in our laps within the first 5 minutes. We knew he was going to be a heartbreaker and a favorite of many.
James just came to us from Victoria, TX. The wonderful staff and volunteers from the Dorothy O’Connor Pet Adoption Center searched for other options for a positive outcome but with his FeLV+ status being seen as an obstacle by adopters, Shadow Cats was able to squeeze him in. He started his 10 day isolation period and we were so happy to have him with us. Such a gorgeous boy!
A medical emergency sent James to the hospital. After extensive testing was done an inoperable mass was found. The heartbreaking decision was made to let James pass gently and peacefully, held in loving arms, and be free of pain and further suffering.
James, we miss you already. Your time with us was only for a few days but you stole our hearts from the get go. You were loved very much! Rest easy, sweet boy, and fly high.
