Poptart
Poptart thinks that what we need is a new way of looking at things…and he’s uniquely qualified for that! He’s not the only cross-eyed cat in the world, but Poptart certainly has a one-of-a-kind look. Poptart is a big believer in TNR, having been cared for in a feral colony in Houston before he became seriously ill. After immigrating to the sanctuary, where he got the medical treatment he needed, he returned to full health. Poptart loves his new life here and wants to make sure that Shadow Cats is able to help lots more cats like him. Poptart says that while it may take some time to focus, in the end he and his running mate Skipper, truly see eye to eye on matters of importance.
Skipper
It didn’t take Poptart long to choose a running mate – the minute he met Skipper he knew they were two kindred souls who saw things the same way. Skipper has been at the sanctuary since he was a kitten so he knows firsthand how much it means to have such a wonderful home for cats, and he wants to help Shadow Cats continue providing that. Skipper will campaign hard with Poptart to make the sanctuary an even better place, and plans to shout their message from the rooftops. And while their approach may be a bit unconventional, Poptart and Skipper say that everything they do is completely honest and heartfelt…in their words, “We’re not crooked, it’s just our eyes!”
